Abstract
We present a case of a 58-year-old woman:who experienced the sudden on set of a deteriorating paraparesis after physical exertion. Pathologic specimens revealed that an intracystic hemorrhage existed within a sp inal schwannoma. The radiologic presentation of the intracystic hemorr hage on computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is described. (C) 1998 by Elsevier Science Inc.
