Abstract
Ectothermic vertebrates, amphibians, are divided in three orders : anu rans, urodelans and gymnophionans, in which sexual cycles and daily ry thms have been observed. In this paper, we tried to give a review on s exual cycles. We also present some data concerning the pineal organ, k nown to be implied in circadian cycles in vertebrates.
