Abstract
The results of a comparative study, using gel electrophoresis (gradien t polyacrylamide gels) of geographycally separate, sexual and asexual populations of Polyxenus lagurus (Linne) (Diplopoda, Penicillata), ind icate their monospecificity. The differences, whether related to sex o r to instar, are small or absent, depending on the enzyme system consi dered; each system behaves independently.
