Abstract
The spin magnetic susceptibility for the two-dimensional one-band Hubb ard model is calculated by means of the composite operator method. The results agree with data obtained by means of numerical analysis and q ualitatively reproduce some of the unusual magnetic properties observe d in the normal state of high-T-c superconducting materials.
