Abstract
The transcripts for 38-kDa and 40-kDa cationic peroxidases of tobacco plants are accumulated in cultured cells, cultured roots, and roots of intact plants. In roots, 38-kDa and 40-kDa peroxidases appear to be l ocalized to apoplasts, where peroxidase proteins may possibly be bound to the cell wall.
