Abstract
The in vitro activity of LY333328 was compared with those of vancomyci n and teicoplanin against 425 grampositive clinical isolates? includin g a variety of multiply resistant strains. LY333328 at less than or eq ual to 4 mu g/ml inhibited all microorganisms tested, including methic illin- and teicoplanin-resistant staphylococci, glycopeptide-resistant enterococci, penicillin- and multiply resistant pneumococci, and viri dans and beta-hemolytic streptococci.
