Abstract
Magnetic relaxation measurements are made in the temperature range 4 t o 460 K on both ordered and disordered Pd3Fe following irradiation wit h 3 MeV electrons. The temperature of irradiation is 40 K and the dose ranges from 10(22) to 10(23) e- m-2. Well-defined relaxation processe s are observed at 34; and 74 K in the ordered samples, which are attri buted to the reorientation of intrinsic interstitial-type defects. On anneal to higher temperatures, a relaxation evolves at 230 K, again in the ordered samples; this is interpreted as a divacancy reorientation .
