Abstract
By observing the temperature dependence of the HOH bending band of tre halose dihydrate, it is found that the property of the bound water mol ecules changes from the ice-like water to liquid-like one at 70 degree s C. This finding indicates that the trehalose/water complex behave li ke a small size of water cluster.
