Mostly, the activities for NO+C2H3+O-2 and its related reactions decre
ased with increasing calcination temperature. In NO2+C2H4, N-2 was sel
ectively formed over alumina calcined at 800 degrees C, while over alu
mina calcined at the other temperatures, not only N-2 but also NO was
formed. Taking into account the temperature window as well, the most a
dvantageous calcination temperature of alumina is 800 degrees C as a c
atalyst for NO+C2H4+O-2.
