ining the Free-Electron Laser (FEL) limit. Ring-cavity effects, deplet
ion of the pump field, and the relativistic limit are discussed. The s
uperradiant regime with radiation as n2 is demonstrated in a properly
defined ''bad-cavity'' limit.
