Abstract
A convenient one-pot bis-protection of [U-N-15]-hydrazine using Boc-ON is described, the product being oxidised efficiently to di-tert-butyl [U-N-15]-azodicarboxylate which is converted into [U-N-15]-(S)-pipera zic acid using known methodology.
