D. Brown et al., CELLULAR MECHANISMS OF AQUAPORIN TRAFFICKING, American journal of physiology. Renal, fluid and electrolyte physiology, 44(3), 1998, pp. 328-331
Aquaporins (AQPs) are a family of functionally important water channel
proteins that are of special cell biological interest because of thei
r diverse intracellular targeting and trafficking properties. AQPs hav
e been found in many different cells and tissues. This short review su
mmarizes recent work that addresses the regulation of AQP2 trafficking
in response to vasopressin.
