LEADING CHARM IN COLOR FLUX TUBE

We argue that the leading charm effect observed in pion-nucleon intera ctions is an indication of the presence of rather strong color field i n hadronic collisions. We show that a color flux tube picture together with such a strong color field will lead naturally the leading charm phenomena. The model also accounts for the momentum distribution of no n-charmed leading particles, such as protons and h's produced in p - p collisions.
