A STUDY OF MAGNETIC-PROPERTIES OF KCO[FE(CN)(6)]

We present the study of AC susceptibility and DC magnetization of KCoI I[Fe-III(CN)(6)]. The results show an evidence of the magnetic orderin g below 13.7 K. The strong frequency dependence of the AC susceptibili ty and a non-linear susceptibility was observed. The coercive field of the magnetization hysteresis loop measured at 4.2 K was 900 Oe. The s ystem shows glassy features, probably due to crystalization water and some structural disorder in the sample. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
