Binary fluids in Vycor are a realization of anticorrelated random-fiel
d systems. The change from uncorrelated to anticorrelated fields has a
profound effect at zero temperature. At any finite temperatures an ef
fective uncorrelated random field of entropic origin is generated and
thus the large scale behavior is that of uncorrelated systems. The pos
sible crossovers from the pure-system behavior to the eventual uncorre
lated behavior and from an effective anticorrelated to uncorrelated be
havior are discussed.
