Linear stability of a liquid film moving on the surface of an oblique
plate under the action of gravity and a turbulent gas stream was studi
ed using an integral method and the Orr-Sommerfeld equation. The effec
t of the gas stream on the film motion is described by tangential and
normal stresses acting on the free surface. The stress fluctuations ar
