Abstract
Some recent developments in the investigation of nuclear-medium effect s in the formation of hadronic resonances on nuclei are discussed. App lications of the two-component formula proposed recently by Boreskov c t nl. for the mass distribution of resonance-decay products are consid ered. In particular, the collision broadening of baryon resonances in the total cross sections for photoabsorption on nuclei and medium effe cts (mass shift and broadening) in the production of omega, rho, and p hi resonances in pion-nucleus collisions are analyzed.
