Iv. Kopytin et As. Kornev, DILEPTON PRODUCTION AND EMISSION OF FAST POSITRONS IN NUCLEUS-NUCLEUSCOLLISIONS, Physics of atomic nuclei, 61(4), 1998, pp. 577-584
The method of distorted waves is used to obtain the differential cross
section for fast-positron emission in collisions of intermediate-ener
gy ions. Electron-positron pairs produced in the field of a dynamical
dinuclear system are considered as the main source of positrons. Nucle
us-nucleus interaction is taken into account within the optical model.
It is shown that information about the properties of nucleus-nucleus
interaction and about the structure of colliding particles can be dedu
ced from the characteristics of leptons.
