Ya. Golubkov et Rv. Konoplich, EXPECTED COSMIC-RAY FLUXES FROM THE ANNIHILATION OF HEAVY STABLE NEUTRINOS IN THE GALACTIC HALO, Physics of atomic nuclei, 61(4), 1998, pp. 602-612
The fluxes of cosmic-ray antiprotons, positrons, electrons, and photons
to be expected from the annihilation of relic heavy neutrinos in the
galactic halo are analyzed in detail. The spectra of particles are eva
luated by means of a Monte Carlo simulation. The results of the calcul
ations show that investigation of the spectra of cosmic-ray positrons
at high energies could provide a distinct signal from annihilation of
very heavy neutrinos in the Galaxy and furnish important information a
bout the parameters of dark-matter particles.
