Abstract
A new dasyclad alga -Acicularia boniae n.sp. - is described from Middl e Triassic (?Ladinian) of the Piano del Minatore Formation, outcroppin g in the Cozzo del Pellegrino area (Calabria, southern Italy). The sys tematic position of this species, with respect to the genus Acicularia and morphogenera Aciculella and Terquemella, is discussed.
