, gave the 26-boron species [(PMe2Ph)(2)PtB16-H17PtB10H11(PMe2Ph)] whi
ch exhibits quite different structural and assembly features to the 26
-boron species [(PMe3)(2)IrB26H24Ir(CO)(PMe3)(2)] previously prepared
from [(PMe3)(2)(CO)HIrB8H12] and B10H14.
