Abstract
Methods;for preparing synthetic P-haematin, the chemical mechanism of beta-haematin formation in aqueous acetate solution and the mode of ac tion of chloroquine and related quinoline antimalarial drugs are brief ly reviewed in the light of recently reported findings.
