A review of the current status of nucleon stability in SUSY unified mo
dels is given. The review includes analysis of nucleon stability in th
e minimal SU(5) supergravity model and in extensions of the minimal mo
del, such as SO(10) models, and in models including textures. Implicat
ions of the simultaneous constraint of the experimental limit on the p
roton lifetime and the constraint that dark matter not overdose the un
iverse are also discussed.
