Abstract
Some new results are reported for the constraints imposed by the nonob servation of neutrinoless double beta decay (0 nu beta beta) on effect ive Lagrangians of composite models. The present analysis confirms est imates previously obtained by two of the authors. Our bounds are somew hat more stringent than those available from high-energy accelerator e xperiments.
