Ai. Lazarev, MONITORING THE SOLAR CORONA AND THE ZODIACAL LIGHT FROM SPACE OVER THE TWILIGHT HORIZON OF THE EARTH, Journal of optical technology, 65(9), 1998, pp. 731-734
This paper discusses the conditions for observing the solar corona and
the zodiacal light from a spacecraft as it flies in the orbit of an a
rtificial earth satellite at heights of 350 and 36 000 km. Estimates o
f the levels of light noise that occur in this case are presented. The
possibilities of recording the radiation of the solar corona and the
zodiacal light by means of television and spectrometric apparatus are
considered. (C) 1998 The Optical Society of America.
