Abstract
The solution of Laplace's equation problems in cylindrical coordinates via conformal mapping of the axial cross-section for structures exhib iting rotational symmetry is revisited. Numerical algorithms are used to perform Schwarz-Christoffel transformations. Capacitance values are obtained for structures already examined in the literature by means o f other methods, and accuracy is discussed, The capacitance of the cir cular patch resonator is accurately computed.
