Abstract
A block iterative algorithm is proposed to solve electromagnetic scatt ering problems involving multi-object scatters. The problem is formula ted using a hybrid method, which combines the generalized multipole te chnique (GMT), and the method of moments (MoM). The proposed algorithm shows a very fast convergence, mainly when the iteration is performed in an adequate sequence. This sequence can be easily found using empi rical rules based on geometrical considerations. Some results are pres ented in order to show the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed met hod.
