Abstract
2D and 3D models of the electromagnetic field in a single hexagonal sh eet tester of anisotropic magnetic material are evaluated. The feeding magnetic flux is a rotational symmetrical three-phase excitation of p ositive sequence. The nonlinear characteristics of the anisotropic mag netic material are represented by vector hysteresis, developed on meas ured data. The numerical analysis of the electromagnetic field, based on global variational method for 2D and 3D models is evaluated to stud y the behaviour of the magnetic material under rotating magnetic field .
