Abstract
The authors discuss the inclusion of a vector Preisach hysteresis mode l in 2D finite element magnetic field calculations. Two complementary formulations based on either the scalar or the vector potential are el aborated. They are applied to a T-joint region of a three phase induct or with rotating Aux excitation. Several numerical results confirm the effectiveness of the presented formulations.
