Abstract
In order to take into account the eddy current in conducting bodies th at are supplied by an electrical circuit, a relation linking the globa l current and the voltage in a massive coil is presented and proved. T his relation is introduced in the T-T-0-phi formulation for modelling coupled problem of 3D eddy current and electrical circuit. The use of the magnetic scaler potential in this formulation makes it very attrac tive in terms of computation cost. The validation of the method is rea lised by comparing calculated results with those obtained with the AV formulation, A contactor validates the case of filament coils.
