Abstract
This paper presents the use of Kohonen self-organizing maps for automa tic mesh generation. Previous algorithms are improved by adding a new search algorithm and boundary treatment. The results of small geometri cal examples are shown. Investigations into parameter variations suppo rt the discussion about advantages and disadvantages of this method.
