APPLICATIONS OF CAPILLARY-ELECTROPHORESIS IN NEPHROLOGY

Capillary electrophoresis has recently emerged as a powerful technique for separating components in biological samples. A family of separati on methods capable of handling a diverse range of samples has been dev eloped, the sample volumes required are very small and a wide range of specialised detectors can be employed. This review examines some meth ods with particular application to the analysis of urine and tubular f luid samples and references relevant applications.
