Abstract
It is experimentally demonstrated that trapped cold Rb atoms are guide d in the atomic funnel which is made by a dark, hollow laser beam prod uced by coupling intense laser light into a micron-sized hollow-core o ptical fiber. The guided atoms will be used to enhance the atomic dens ity inside a hollow-core optical fiber.
