Abstract
The influence of the vacuum heat-treatment process on the hardness, fr acture toughness and fine-blanking performances of tools made from hig h speed steel M2 is investigated. To improve the fine-blanking perform ances, the fracture toughness and hardness of the AISI M2 high-speed s teel was measured after a variety of vacuum heat treatments.
