Abstract
Thyroid volume reduction was observed, among 25 subjects off-therapy a fter Hodgkin's disease. The volume reduction was related to dose (p=0. 014) and time from radiotherapy (p=0.01). The correlation was very spe cific since all patients with reduced volume had hypothyroidism, but n ot very sensitive since 25% of subjects with thyroid dysfunction had n ormal gland volume.
