Abstract
The social construction of technology (SCOT) framework encourages ct f ocus on the multiple perspectives inherent in the development and eval uation of digital libraries. SCOT concepts such as relevant social gro ups, interpretative flexibility, and closure are used to examine an ev aluation case study of the Making of America digital library.
