Ia. Lundovskikh et al., IMMOBILIZATION OF RECOMBINANT FIREFLY LUCIFERASE - PHYSICOCHEMICAL PROPERTIES AND APPLICATION, Biochemistry, 63(6), 1998, pp. 691-696
Immobilization of the recombinant Luciola mingrelica and Photinus pyra
lis firefly luciferases on BrCN-activated Sepharose was investigated.
The catalytic properties and analytical characteristics of the immobil
ized recombinant and native luciferases were comparatively studied. Th
e catalytic properties of the immobilized recombinant L. mingrelica lu
ciferase are close to those of the native luciferase, but the former e
nzyme appeared to be significantly more stable. The immobilized recomb
inant luciferases can be used for ATP assay within the 0.01-10000 nM r
ange.
