Abstract
The coextrusion blow moulding of six-layer plastics fuel tanks with E/ VAL barrier layer for extremely low hydrocarbon emissions is widesprea d. This process is now becoming established for fuel-tank filler pipes , especially since the introduction of 3D blow moulding technology. Th e newly developed wall-thickness layer control ensures further optimiz ation of article quality and weight.
