In order to effectively utilize fly ash as reproduction resources, it
is necessary to qualify physical and chemical properties of fly ash an
d to collect an evaluated quality of ash by selection and storage. So
a fly ash qualify control system capable of measuring and analyzing th
e component and the particle size distribution of ash in onstream was
developed and a demonstration plant is now installed on site. This qua
lity control system consists of an automatic sampling system, a residu
al carbon content analyzer, an elementary composition analyzer, a qual
ity evaluation equipment and the like, and is capable of operating aut
omatically. This paper introduces its quality evaluation technique in
this system and the result of its effectively demonstration test as we
ll as the state of operating machines.
