Abstract
We propose the design of a symmetric ternary current-mode CMOS Schmitt inverter using transmission current-switch theory. This Schmitt inver ter can have multiple outputs, and its width of hysteresis can be adju sted as needed. The computer simulation shows that the designed Schmit t inverter has nearly ideal Schmitt characteristics.
