Abstract
A generalized nonextensive two-parameter entropy is developed, along l ines which unify current nonextensive frameworks. It recovers, as part icular cases, the Tsallis and symmetric entropies, as well as the Bolt zmann-Gibbs entropy. The properties of the new (q,q')-entropy are anal ysed. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
