This paper reports our recent study for the spectroelectrochemistry of
hemoglobin at bare silver electrodes using a self-made long optical p
ath UV/Visible thin-layer spectroelectrochemical cell, By this cell, t
he electron transfer number(n=1. 04), the adsorbance (Gamma = 8. 95 x
10(-14) mol/mm(2)) and the formal redox potential(E-0' = 0. 14 V) of h
emoglobin at bare silver electrodes were studied.
