Abstract
There reactions of anhydrous NdCl3 and/or SmCl3 with Na-2(C5H4SiMe2)(2 )O in 1 : 1 molar ratio in THF afforded the title compounds [O(Me3SiC5 H4)(2)Ln (mu-Cl) (THF)](2)[Ln = Nd (1), Sm(2)], Compounds 1 and: 2 wer e characterized by elemental analysis. X-ray structural analysis revea led that 1 and 2 are dimeric compounds bridged by two chloro atoms.
