INTERACTION OF SDS WITH POLYELECTROLYTE COMPLEX BASED DIAZORESIN

A novel polyelectrolyte complex from diazoresin (DR) as cationic polye lectrolyte and poly(sodium styrene sulfonate)(PSS) as anionic polyelec trolyte was prepared. It was found that the complex which is indissolv e in water or any organic solvent, will dissolve in SDS aqueous soluti on, The DR-PSS/SDS aqueous solution, as an unexpected result, exhibits extraordinary thermostability as well as high photosensitivity and ca n be used directly as a composition in photoimaging technique. A propo sed explanation for soluble of DR-PSS in SDS aqueous solution and high thermostability was proposed and discussed preliminary.
