Abstract
In this paper we investigate the digital speech communication by activ e-passive-decomposition (APD) synchronization in a hyperchaotic system with a one-way coupled ring map lattice with length in. We present an analysis of the synchronous principle, synchronization time, and the sensitivity of synchronization to the parameter differences. Experimen ts as well as theory demonstrate that the APD method leads to secure e ncoding, short time synchronization, and recovery without error.
