Abstract
Cross sections for the production of the target fragments in the inter action of Nb-93 and Ta-181 with 47 MeV/nucleon C-12 ions have been mea sured with off-line gamma spectroscopy. The mass yield distributions w ere deduced assuming a Gaussian charge distribution function. The resu lts were compared with statistical fusion-fragmentation model calculat ions.
