The surface profile of the 32-m parabolic radiotelescope located in Me
dicina has been measured with the Misell phase-recovery technique usin
g commercial geostationary satellites at 11 GHz and checked on H2O ast
ronomical masers at 22 GHz as reference sources. The telescope is a pa
rabolic reflector antenna operating in Cassegrain configuration and de
signed for observations up to the frequency of 23 GHz. The accuracy ob
tained with this technique is about 0.2 mm and the spatial resolution
is 0.7 m.
