Proper interpretation of a constant-temperature anemometer (CTA) signa
l in a nonisothermal flow requires some temperature correction of the
signal. The object of this paper is to describe the use of a systemati
c procedure which compensates for ambient temperature drift in constan
t-temperature anemometer operation. The procedure will be demonstrated
for a normal (90 degrees) sensor probe. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd
