Fractures of the supraglenoid tubercle of the scapula were up to now t
reated by means of a traction screw or a traction strap through which
relatively often complications occured. Anatomic studies on the inner
structure of the scapula show that this method of fixation achieves on
ly a weak staying of the fragment. In comparison with it an optimal st
aying results by application of a T-plate. In this work the operative
technique is represented and the results of this treatment are describ
ed by means of seven cases.
