An infant with severe congenital neurological defect of swallowing and
clinical features of Mobius syndrome who underwent a prolonged rehabi
litation program is described Referring to the present experience, the
pathophysiology of congenital neurological disturbances of deglutitio
n not due to cerebral palsy and the rationale for early rehabilitative
approach of such defects are discussed.
